Team Wellington and the Ole Football Academy renew their partnership for the upcoming National Youth League commencing this weekend with the first game on Sunday 6th.
The partnership includes a sponsorship and coaching component that will see the Youth side coached by Ben Sippola.
All clubs throughout the region were invited to nominate potential players for the team. Over 80 nominations were received from 15 clubs, with three trial games and training held over the last 2 weeks. Team Wellington wishes to thank the clubs and players for their support in this process.
Following the trials, a squad of 23 training players, has been finalised. In addition, a further six U-19 players have been included in the senior first team as Team Wellington looks ahead to the 2019/20 ISPS Handa Premiership and the 2019 National Youth League season.
